Happy New Years Eve everyone!!!

2014 has been such a fantastic year filled with oodles of great memories. I had several fun adventures, met some lovely new people and had an amazing time.

In this post I'm going to be reviewing 2014 with you and sharing my highlights of the year. Lets start with the resolutions I made at the start of this year:
  1. Eat more healthy ✔
  2. Learn to cook ✘
  3. Have a happy and positive year ✔
I kept resolutions 1+3. I have defiantly learned to eat more healthy food and compared to other years I've had a very happy and positive year (even though there were a few downs, but then again there always are). Unfortunately I didn't learn to cook mainly due to having not a lot of time to practice and I need help from my parents to help me (just while I grow confident).

Now here are the highlights of each month

January

The main highlight of January was when I went on work experience to my old primary school ( I blogged about it BTW). I had amazing week working with the children. It helped me make up my mind that I want to be a primary school teacher.

February

February was a pretty quite month. The highlight of february, for me, was half term. I had a few nice days out and I also had a sleepover at one of my friends house

March

March was an even quieter month. In fact,if I'm brutally honest, I can't think of a highlight for march as it was just an average month.

April

Braceless Moi

In April I had a nice Easter break where again I went on some nice days out and for a couple of days I was in school for GCSE revision sessions. However the best thing about april was on the 28th I had my braces removed. I had been in braces since y8 (well I had a removable one first then the actual ones) and before I had braces my teeth were a right mess. However after getting my braces off for the 1st time ever I could smile confidently whilst showing my teeth.

May

Leaving school

On the 13th May I stared sitting my GCSE'S (scary times). Then before may half term I officially left school. Had a quite may half term except for a few revision sessions.

June

On the 13th June I sat my final GCSE exam (which was a 2 hour maths paper :( ). Then on the 30th June I had my prom (also blogged about). It was one of the best nights of my life and I had such an amazing time.

July

In July I got to see the Tour de France the weekend it was in Yorkshire and it was such a great weekend ( also blogged about). Then on the last week of July my school held a summer drama course which is always lots of fun. You play drama games and make up your own whole group drama's.

August

August was a very exciting month. I went away for 2 weeks to France and had a wonderful holiday there. Whilst on holiday I got my GCSE results and I was over the moon to have passed everything. I then spent 3 days down south and on one of those days I went to London for the day. It was also my birthday in August and I had a lovely day with my family and my best friend (who I spent the morning with).

September

September was quite in comparison. I started 6th form and that was pretty much the highlight of september. However at the end of september I got the bus over to my friends house. Unfortunately as I got off the bus I walked straight into the bus stop and gave myself a HUGE black eye.

October

As you all know in october half term I did the NCS course and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had a fantastic adventure and made some amazing new friends.

November

In November I spent the first 2 weekends doing my social action which was repainting an old primary school. Its being converted into a theatre for the theatre company called EarthBeat. At the end of November I graduated from the NCS course and it was a wondeful night.

December

At the start of december I took part in our schools christmas play (my mock exam in drama) and it was The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I was Mr Tumnas in it and I really enjoyed performing in it. On Chritsmas eve I had a lovely day looking round York with my family. Then I had a wonderful christmas day with my family and got lots of amazing things.

Well for me 2014 was an amazing year and I hope 2015 will be just as good, if not better. Hope you all have a very happy new year.

❆Christmas Blogging: Christmas Day❆

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry christmas everyone, I hope you had a fantastic christmas and got everything you wanted. I had a brilliant christmas and was very lucky to be spoilt by my family.

Like always I woke up at 6am (Christmas and my birthday are the only times I will willingly wake up early) to open my stocking. It was filled with lots of lovely presents that made me very happy indeed. My favourite present, out of my stocking, was I had got 2 Miss Manga Mascara's which I was very very very happy with as mine has run out.

My Stocking Presents

After my parents and brother had woken up, me and my brother gave each us and our parents their presents. We then went to the top room where me and my brother opened our main presents. Here are a few things that I got for christmas.

I love reading and am a massive book fan. So I got lots of books off my brother and parents. You can spot at the bottom the new Jacqueline Wilson book, I don't care how I old I am she is still my all time favourite author. With all these books it should keep me busy reading until next christmas!

I also got quite a few DVD's for christmas as well. I have been dying to see the breakfast club and hairspray for ages so I'm really glad I got them for christmas. I have also seen TFIOS and Divergent and I really enjoyed watching them.

If you don't know already I'm a massive of Soap and Glory products. This year I got 2 gift sets. I got the huge one they always do and the Sugar Crush one. The big one contains a variety of products and the Sugar Crush one contains a mini bottle of shower gel and a mini tub of body butter. I have used the Sugar Crush shower gel before and I love it as it smells like a lemonade float.

Now that I'm in college and don't have to wear a uniform I paint my nails frequently. However the only problem is they take ages to dry. I'm really glad I got a nail dryer as it means my nails will dry much quicker so I can't wait to try it out.

This is a benefit face gift set filled with mini samples. It contains: face wash, toning lotion, eye cream, moisturizer, face emulsion and face polish. I'm really excited to try these all out but I will have to wait a couple of weeks as my skin is currently undergoing a crisis and is in the process of healing.

I got 2 pairs of fluffy slippers and PJ's off my grandparents which I adore (and they are pink!). I had no pairs of slippers and now I have 2 cute pairs. Also I love fluffy PJ's as they are exceptionally snuggly and cosy during the cold winter months. Plus I needed a couple more pairs as well.

For my room I got some Bunny Mood lights. When I turn them on they glow a lovely pink colour. I have placed them on my shelf and they look lovely when they glow and it makes my room a pretty colour.

These are my new clothes I got for christmas and BTW the top left picture is a skort. They are all thick so they will keep me cosy during the winter and a girl can never ever have too many clothes.

For me christmas isn't christmas without receiving a tonne of sweets and chocolate. Each year I get loads which last me until half way through January. I got a wide selection this year and they are all my favourites.

After opening them all me and my brother still had one present which is the one "we desired the most". However they had been hidden somewhere in the top room and we had to wait until after breakfast to find them. After breakfast we raced back upstairs and began the search and we eventually found them.

I got a new phone (NO MORE PAY AS YOU GO, YES :D) and my brother got and XBOX 360. I'm really looking forward to using my new phone as I have wanted a new one for ages.

In the afternoon we all sat down and had our christmas dinner which was absolutely delicious!

Well that was my lovely christmas day, I hope you had a lovely christmas as well.

❆Christmas Blogging: My favourite christmas movies❆

Hello!
It's finally December which means christmas is approaching (only 19 days to go,wooo). So during the lead up to christmas I'm going to base my blogging around christmas. This post is all about my favourite christmas movies!!!

Elf

Elf is definitely my favourite christmas movie and pretty much everyone has seen it. But if you haven't seen Elf it's about an orphan baby who sneaks into Santa's sack and is adopted by elves. He soon realizes he's human and goes to New York City to find his dad. It's a classic christmas movie and its super cheesy but that's what I love about it. It never fails to get me in the christmas spirit mood.

Buddy the elf always makes me smile and I love how in the end he finds his dad and gets a girlfriend.

Home Alone

Another classic christmas movie which everyone has just about seen. Home alone is about a boy who gets left behind by his family and must defend his home from burglars. This movie is very funny and makes me laugh lots, if you haven't watched home alone before I suggest you watch it.

Nativity

I only watched Nativity last year but it has become one of my favourite christmas movies. It's about a primary school that perform the nativity and the end up peforming it in this massive cathedral. It's funny but has a couple of sad moments at the same time. However like all christmas movies it has a happy ending. There is even nativity 2,3 and a 4th one has just come out.

Shrek the halls

I don't care how old I am, Shrek the halls is one and always will be a christmas movie favourite. Plus everyone loves Shrek, especially Donkey. I watch it every year either on christmas eve or christmas day. Shrek the Halls is all about Shrek and his family and friends celebrating christmas.

Muppets Christmas Carol

I love the muppets christmas carol and I have seen it countless times. It follows from the classic but with the muppets twist. Its got singing, dancing, parts that make you laugh and parts that make you cry.

My favourite part of a muppets christmas carol is the 2 Marley brothers. In all the other christmas carol movies I have seen Marley's ghost is always depressed but in this one there not and even have their own song.

Well those are my favourite christmas movies, what are yours???
