❤March Favourites❤

Hello!
Its the last day of March and the weather is being very temperamental where I live. One minute it's sunny and the next its pouring with rain.

Anyway here are my monthly favourites, for this month

Clinique- Take the day off
cleansing milk
This is one of the best make-up removers I have used. Its a cleansing milk which means its not harsh but gently removes make-up. You apply to your face, leave for a few minutes and then wash off. Also this make-up remover stops your skin from drying it, an added bonus.

Bourjois- Smokey eyes
eyeshadow palette
Recently I have changed how I do my eye make-up so I started using this. I use the bronze coloured eye shadow (top left) which makes my eyes stand out and gives a glow to them.

Superdrug- Strawberry and
Raspberry shower gel
This shower gel smells just like sweets and its pink! It lathers very quickly and leaves your skin feeling clean without feeling dried out. Its strong smelling (in a good way) which means you can still smell it on your skin afterwards.

Soap and Glory- Hand Cream
My hands have been quite dry lately and this has done a super job of moisturizing them. Its smells really nice as well.

Well those are my monthly favourite products

Beauty DIY: Get rid of dry hands

Hi!
Its finally the Easter holidays (yay) which means oodles of revising for me (yes my exams are just over a month away which means I won't be blogging as much, sorry guys).

Anyway enough rambling from me. Today I'm going to share a beauty trick I learnt a couple of years ago and it really works. This particular trick gets rid of dry, flaky hands.

What you will need

  • Olive oil
  • Hand cream
  • Hot soapy water
Step 1
Fill a sink (about halfway full) with hot, soapy water

Step 2

Put a small blob of olive oil on your hands and rub it in until it has all sunk in.

Step 3

Apply a thick layer of hand cream to your hands and let it sink in.

Step 4

Place your hands in the water and soak them for about 5 minutes.

Step 5

Towel dry your hands and apply some hand cream. The results= smooth, soft hands!

I hope you find this beauty trick useful, let me know in the comments below it it works for you.

My Skincare Routine

Hello lovelies!
For ages and ages I searched for skincare that's right for my face as my face went from being oily and spotty to extremely dry and flaky (ewww I know). Eventually my mum introduced me to Clinique and ever since I started using Clinique it's really improved my skin.

I've been using the Clinique 3 Step skincare routine for a good few months now and it's worked wonders for me. Yes Clinique is a pricey brand but its well worth what you pay for as the products are very good quality. Also I do this routine in the morning and in the evening.

Step 1

The first thing I do is wash my face using the Clinique cleansing soap. This is a very mild soap which has no perfumes or irritants in it. Also  this is very gentle on the skin and when applied it builds up a mild lather.  In the evening I use warm water to wash it off and in the morning I use cold water. When washed off it leaves my skin feeling soft and feeling clean at the same time.

Step 2

After washing my face I use the toner. I must warn you I found it quite strong at first and it took a few days to get used to. However it leaves your skin feeling very refreshed. To apply the toner I put a small bit on a cotton pad and then sweep it across my face (be very careful around the eye area!)

Step 3

The final step is to moisturize. This is perfect as it's very light so it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky and oily. At the same time its also moisturizing enough to leave your skin feeling super soft as it sinks in very quickly.

Make up Remover

 Clinique- Take the day off
cleansing milk £21

To take my make up off I use the cleansing milk. I apply to my face, leave for a couple of minutes and then wash off. What I like about this product is that it doesn't dry out your skin but moisturizes it and its perfect for dry skin. The only thing I would say is although its safe to use on the eyes ( I did ask), be careful when applying to eyes and washing it off because if you get it in your eyes it will sting like crazy.

Well that's my skincare routine, whats yours?

Current Everyday Make Up

Hello!
Sorry for not blogging in a while, I've been busy with college work. Anyway today I thought I would show the my current make up that I use.

Current Everyday Make Up

Eye shadow

Bourjois eye shadow in triple rose
For eye shadow I use the Bourjois triple rose palette and I use the middle one. It's a very natural and light colour which I'm very into with eyeshadow. Also it gives my eye lids a bit of colour to them as well and looks really pretty.

Mascara

Miss Manga Mascara
This is possibly the best mascara I own and use. It makes my eyelashes super long whilst giving them plenty of volume at the same time. The wand is flexible which makes it very easy to apply.

Blusher

Benefit Dandelion
Strictly speaking this is actually face illumination power but it works really well as a blusher. It's quite a light colour but when applied it gives my cheeks a lovely healthy glow.

Lipstick

Benefit Bene-Balm
I got this for christmas and I was unsure about using at first as its quite bright. However I soon fell in love with it as it gives your lips a natural tint and it really suits my lips. Also it moisturizes my lips rather than dry them out.

Well that's my current everyday make up, whats yours?
