What I got for Christmas 2016

Hello lovelies!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas yesterday filled with lots of joy. I had a lovely day of being with my family, eating and watching various Christmas TV Specials.

I am very lucky and I was spoilt by my lovely family, so I decided to share with you all what I got for Christmas!

Beauty

Vera Wang Princess perfume: I’ve wanted this perfume for over a year now so I was very happy to receive this as a present off my godmother. It’s got a lovely sweet scent and I can’t wait to wear it! I’m not going to say too much about this product as I shall write a review later.

Soap & Glory The Whole Glam Lot gift set: I always enjoy receiving a Soap & Glory gift set, as I’m a massive fan of their products! The Whole Glam Lot set contains 10 full sized products, including makeup, skincare and body care products. This year’s gift set includes my favourite Sugar Crush body wash (the scent reminds me of ice cream floats!).

Ted Baker London gift set: One of my lovely friends gave me this a present. I’ve never owned any Ted Baker beauty products before. However I’ve already fallen in love with the body spray and I can’t wait to try out the other mini products.

White Grace gift set: I received this gift set off another lovely friend for Christmas. I thing I love most about this product is the friend who gave me this product is actually called grace (thanks Grace!). I’ve never tried White Grace products before, but I look forward to trying them out.

Real Techniques Hollywood Icons Brush and DVD set:
I own make up brushes but this is my first Real Techniques brush! They seem to be every bloggers favourite brand of brushes, so I shall be trying mine out and seeing whether they are worth the type. The brush also comes with a DVD which has makeup tutorials on how to do your makeup like famous Hollywood icons, including Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. I can’t wait to try this out as Audrey Hepburn is one of my biggest icons.

Clothes

Unicorn Slippers:
I always love having fluffy slippers and this year I got a pair of unicorn slippers. These are my favourite pair of slippers I’ve ever owned because I love unicorns and they are pink (my favourite colour!)

Brown Fur Boots: I needed a new pair of winter boots so I asked for a pair for Christmas. I love brown colour boots and these ones are perfect, especially with the fur (its fake!) trim along the outside.

Fluffy Owl PJ’s: In winter I always get really cold so I always wear fluffy PJ’s and I can never own too many pairs of fluffy PJ’s. Plus what’s Christmas without receiving a pair of fluffy PJ’s? These ones are really cute as they have little owls on them, and they are pink as well.

PJ’s: When it becomes slightly warmer I then progress to long sleeved PJ’s. With growing, I’ve needed a new pair of long sleeved PJ’s. I really like this pair, especially the tartan trouser bottoms!

Books

The Bell Jar: This book has been on my reading list for a while, as I’ve always wanted to read this book! It’s supposed to be a really good book so I can’t wait to read it.

Holding up the universe: After reading All the bright places I was keen to read Jennifer Niven’s latest book. I’ve read the blurb of this book and I don’t think it’s a sequel to All the bright places (however I could be wrong!). However this book seems to follow a similar concept to All the bright places so I look forward to reading it.

The White Rose: The White Rose is the sequel to The Jewel, which I read over a year ago. I loved reading The Jewel, as the story was so interesting, so I can’t wait to begin the sequel.

I also received lots of other small gifts off my family, including what feels like a lifetime supply of chocolate! (although me being me, I’ll be lucky if it lasts a week into the New Year!) and a bracelet off my brother which says Worlds Best Sister!

My lovely blogger friend Alice also did a Christmas Haul on her blog (I really enjoyed reading what Alice got for Christmas!), which you can read all about HERE

What did you receive for Christmas this year?

❆Christmas Blogging: Christmas Day❆

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry christmas everyone, I hope you had a fantastic christmas and got everything you wanted. I had a brilliant christmas and was very lucky to be spoilt by my family.

Like always I woke up at 6am (Christmas and my birthday are the only times I will willingly wake up early) to open my stocking. It was filled with lots of lovely presents that made me very happy indeed. My favourite present, out of my stocking, was I had got 2 Miss Manga Mascara's which I was very very very happy with as mine has run out.

My Stocking Presents

After my parents and brother had woken up, me and my brother gave each us and our parents their presents. We then went to the top room where me and my brother opened our main presents. Here are a few things that I got for christmas.

I love reading and am a massive book fan. So I got lots of books off my brother and parents. You can spot at the bottom the new Jacqueline Wilson book, I don't care how I old I am she is still my all time favourite author. With all these books it should keep me busy reading until next christmas!

I also got quite a few DVD's for christmas as well. I have been dying to see the breakfast club and hairspray for ages so I'm really glad I got them for christmas. I have also seen TFIOS and Divergent and I really enjoyed watching them.

If you don't know already I'm a massive of Soap and Glory products. This year I got 2 gift sets. I got the huge one they always do and the Sugar Crush one. The big one contains a variety of products and the Sugar Crush one contains a mini bottle of shower gel and a mini tub of body butter. I have used the Sugar Crush shower gel before and I love it as it smells like a lemonade float.

Now that I'm in college and don't have to wear a uniform I paint my nails frequently. However the only problem is they take ages to dry. I'm really glad I got a nail dryer as it means my nails will dry much quicker so I can't wait to try it out.

This is a benefit face gift set filled with mini samples. It contains: face wash, toning lotion, eye cream, moisturizer, face emulsion and face polish. I'm really excited to try these all out but I will have to wait a couple of weeks as my skin is currently undergoing a crisis and is in the process of healing.

I got 2 pairs of fluffy slippers and PJ's off my grandparents which I adore (and they are pink!). I had no pairs of slippers and now I have 2 cute pairs. Also I love fluffy PJ's as they are exceptionally snuggly and cosy during the cold winter months. Plus I needed a couple more pairs as well.

For my room I got some Bunny Mood lights. When I turn them on they glow a lovely pink colour. I have placed them on my shelf and they look lovely when they glow and it makes my room a pretty colour.

These are my new clothes I got for christmas and BTW the top left picture is a skort. They are all thick so they will keep me cosy during the winter and a girl can never ever have too many clothes.

For me christmas isn't christmas without receiving a tonne of sweets and chocolate. Each year I get loads which last me until half way through January. I got a wide selection this year and they are all my favourites.

After opening them all me and my brother still had one present which is the one "we desired the most". However they had been hidden somewhere in the top room and we had to wait until after breakfast to find them. After breakfast we raced back upstairs and began the search and we eventually found them.

I got a new phone (NO MORE PAY AS YOU GO, YES :D) and my brother got and XBOX 360. I'm really looking forward to using my new phone as I have wanted a new one for ages.

In the afternoon we all sat down and had our christmas dinner which was absolutely delicious!

Well that was my lovely christmas day, I hope you had a lovely christmas as well.

❆Christmas Blogging: My favourite christmas movies❆

Hello!
It's finally December which means christmas is approaching (only 19 days to go,wooo). So during the lead up to christmas I'm going to base my blogging around christmas. This post is all about my favourite christmas movies!!!

Elf

Elf is definitely my favourite christmas movie and pretty much everyone has seen it. But if you haven't seen Elf it's about an orphan baby who sneaks into Santa's sack and is adopted by elves. He soon realizes he's human and goes to New York City to find his dad. It's a classic christmas movie and its super cheesy but that's what I love about it. It never fails to get me in the christmas spirit mood.

Buddy the elf always makes me smile and I love how in the end he finds his dad and gets a girlfriend.

Home Alone

Another classic christmas movie which everyone has just about seen. Home alone is about a boy who gets left behind by his family and must defend his home from burglars. This movie is very funny and makes me laugh lots, if you haven't watched home alone before I suggest you watch it.

Nativity

I only watched Nativity last year but it has become one of my favourite christmas movies. It's about a primary school that perform the nativity and the end up peforming it in this massive cathedral. It's funny but has a couple of sad moments at the same time. However like all christmas movies it has a happy ending. There is even nativity 2,3 and a 4th one has just come out.

Shrek the halls

I don't care how old I am, Shrek the halls is one and always will be a christmas movie favourite. Plus everyone loves Shrek, especially Donkey. I watch it every year either on christmas eve or christmas day. Shrek the Halls is all about Shrek and his family and friends celebrating christmas.

Muppets Christmas Carol

I love the muppets christmas carol and I have seen it countless times. It follows from the classic but with the muppets twist. Its got singing, dancing, parts that make you laugh and parts that make you cry.

My favourite part of a muppets christmas carol is the 2 Marley brothers. In all the other christmas carol movies I have seen Marley's ghost is always depressed but in this one there not and even have their own song.

Well those are my favourite christmas movies, what are yours???

Christmas day is finally here

Merry Christmas my mint Humbugs

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while I have been very busy (especially at school). But today is Christmas (yayyyy) so that's what I'm going to blog about.

Each Christmas I wake up at 6am to open my stocking. Normally when I'm holiday I have a lie in til around 8:30am but as its Christmas I make an exception.

This is my stocking full of presents

These are the presents I received in my stocking

At about half 8 me and my little brother went in my parents room to wish them a merry Christmas and we gave them their Christmas presents. I got my dad 3 Molten Brown shower gels and a Toblerone. I got my mum some Champneys Bubble bath and some after eight mints. I got my brother a phone stylus, magic stars and a didgeridoo. I loved seeing the look on my brothers face when I gave him the didgeridoo. He had a go and I have to admit he played very well. My family all loved their gifts.

Then we went into the top room ( I live in a 3 storey house) and me and My brother opened our main presents.

Here are a few of my main presents

As my mum is working this afternoon and doesn't come back til 8pm we aren't having a Christmas dinner. We had one on the 23rd and we are going to have another one tomorrow- I cant wait!!! So we had a brunch as our Christmas meal/treat and tonight my dad is going to cook me and my brother nachos, yummy!!!

Later this evening I will curl up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and watch chicken run ( I love that movie and it was on today so I recorded it) and other Christmas movies.

And that's my Christmas for you. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and got lots of lovely presents.

Enjoy the rest of Christmas Day!!!!

♫Its the most wonderful time of the year♫

Its December and Christmas is fast approaching, yay :D

December is by far the best month of the year for many fabby reasons:

Advent has begun
I imagine most of you have an advent calendar. I have one each year which my mum fills with little goodies such as sweets and 20p pieces. This year I get a pair of earrings every day. Also between the 7-17 December I also get hot chocolate and a bath bomb. Now waking up on a morning for school doesn't seem as glum.
My Advent Calender :D

Christmas Decorations go up
There is nothing better than putting the Christmas decorations up. It looks and feels christmasy. I also love seeing other houses that have been decorated. Some nights I take the late bus home from school ( due to after school classes). On the journey home (particularly in the place I live) I see tons of streets decorated and all lit up. It looks magical.

This is someones house I saw decorated while in St Albans last year. It defiantly wins most decorated house!!!

Secret Santa
Every year my form does a Secret Santa. I love buying gifts for my chosen person and then seeing their face when they open it up. I also love receiving cute gifts from my Secret Santa (In my old form a lovely girl got my a silver pig money box and it sits proudly on my shelf)

Snow
Although it hasn't snowed yet I really hope it does. I love waking up and seeing the garden covered in snow. Also there is nothing more magical than watching snowflakes fall to the ground. When it snows I love making snowmen, snow-angels, snowballing and going sledging.

Christmas Day
Its the best day of December. I love waking up early and opening my stocking while snuggled up in bed. I love going upstairs to open my Christmas presents. I love giving Christmas presents to my friends and family. I love Christmas Dinner- roast goose, sprouts, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, stuffing ect- its all very yummy

I'm sooooooooooo excited for Christmas, are you???
