Miss Manga Mascara Review

Hello :)
A few weeks ago my school was on strike for the day so I went shopping. Whilst shopping I finally picked up the Miss Manga Mascara which I have been wanting for months!

What they Say: Miss Manga Mascara creates bold volume with L'Oreal Paris first 360 flexible cone shaped brush that amplifies upper lashes and reveals lower lashes.

What I say: The first thing that made me want to buy this product was the kawaii packaging and that it had the word manga on it. I love the bold colours used on the packaging and how the contrast against each other. The second thing that made me want to buy it was that it has a flexible brush and it makes it easier to apply the mascara. I find that the flexible brush definitely works. Also the mascara does give my eyelashes lots of volume and length while looking very natural. The only slight issue is that its a very wet mascara so you need to dab excess mascara off the wand (using a tissue) before applying. Overall I really love the mascara and it was definitely worth buying. Rating 10/10.

How To: Bunny Nails Tutorial

Hello everyone, the Easter holidays have finally arrived and that means no school for 2 weeks YAY. That means I decided to paint my nails with an Easter theme and this post will teach you how do "Bunny Nails"

You will need: Pink Nail varnish, white nail varnish, nail varnish for the bunny eyes ( I choose blue but you could to black or green ect), clear nail varnish and 2 hair grips

Step 1:

Using the pink nail varnish apply the base coat to your nails. I would recommend doing 2 thin layers rather than one big thick one.

Step 2:

Using the white nail varnish paint a small rectangle at the base of both thumb nails. Then carefully paint 2 thin rectangles coming up from the base rectangle.
Step 3:

Using one hair grip, dip it into the chosen nail varnish for the eyes ( in this case blue) and paint 2 small dots at the top of the base rectangle on each thumb. Then using the other hair grip dip it into the pink nail varnish and paint 1 small dot in between and below the other 2 dots.

Step 4:

Finally apply a clear coat of nail varnish on top to protect your nails from chipping.

Your nails should end up looking like this.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and it has inspired you all to do your own bunny nails.

Manga!!!

Hiya, as you all know I'm addicted to the Japanese Culture. One of the first things that made me grow to love the Japanese Culture was Manga. I fell in love with manga at the age of 11 when I read my 1st manga novel.

Manga originates from Japan and was first discovered in the late 19th Century. Manga is a Japanese word for "comics" or "cartoons".

Stereotypical Manga Character

The above picture is what a typical manga character looks like. One of the biggest typical features of a manga character is their big, cute eyes. Also manga characters tend to have small noses and mouths.

Manga Novels:

Dragon Ball Z:

I have read the first 2 volumes of this series and the books are just funny and interesting Dragon Ball Z is about a boy named Goku (who is on the cover in the picture above) and his friends. They are on a quest to find the legendary seven dragon balls. Legend has it that if you find all seven dragon balls you can summon the dragon master and he will grant you one wish. After the wish has been made the dragon balls disappear and spread out around Earth. I found this book series very funny and I just loved the quests Goku and his friends go on (However the books can be quite sexual in places). So if you are a fan of action and adventure I strongly suggest reading the Dragon Ball Z series.

Jiu Jiu

This is by far one of the saddest manga novels I have ever read. Jiu Jiu is all about a 16 year old girl named Takamichi. Her job is to hunt demons and slay them. Tragically, while out on one of these missions, her twin brother dies trying to protect her. Then one day Takamichi receives a pair of "jiu jui". They are half human, half wolf and are called Snow and Night. At first Takamichi treats Snow and White badly as she was treated badly. However she gradually accepts them. The story is a little hard to get into at first but once your sucked in the stories are really good.

First shopping spree of the year

Hola

So I had money left over from Christmas. Can anyone guess what I did???

Yesterday I went on my first shopping spree of the year and it was fab. I intended to buy clothes in the sale and a few other things but I bought no clothes and nothing in the sales (ooops)

Here is everything I bought

Soap and Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo and Conditioner
I wanted some new shampoo and conditioner so I ended up buying the soap and glory Glad Hair Day one. In my gift set ( which I got for Christmas)I had a mini tube of the shampoo so I tried it out and loved it. It makes your hair smell fruity and makes it feel wonderful. Also it doesn't leave your hair greasy which some shampoo's can. I cant wait to use the conditioner and I hope that works just as well.

Lush Face Mask- Cupcake
I bought this face mask from Lush and it has such a cute new ( Cupcake in case you cant see from my photo, sorry). I have read loads of great reviews and its meant to be great for rubbish teenage skin which is what I have. It even contains chocolate so I cant wait to try it out.

Lush Bath Bomb- Melting Marshmallow
I was in Lush looking for some fabulous bath bombs and I came across this one. Its pink and smells of Candy. It also looks like a fluffy marshmallow ( hence the same). I haven't used it yet but ATM its making my room smell lovely so I cant wait to use this in the bath.

Lush Bath Bomb- Sex Bomb
This is the other bath bomb I picked out ( correction it was the first one I picked up) As you can see it looks very cute and has a lovely pinky purply colour. Also I had previously read great reviews of this bath bomb and seen loads of pictures of the bath water being turned pink by it. It smells amazing as well, I really hope this bath bomb works for me otherwise I will cry as I have high hopes for this bath bomb and I want to buy more of these bath bombs.

The Body Shop Atlas Rose fragrance body mist
The last time I was in the Body Shop I came across the tester of this and sprayed some to see if I liked it. I didn't like it, I LOVED it!!! I love rosy scents and this smelt lovely. Also the bottle is really cute. So this time round I bought it and I'm very glad I did. When it runs out I will definitely be buying some more.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream
Again like the Rose Body mist I tried out the tester of the hand cream in the shop and loved it. It smells amazing and leaves your hands feeling smooth. The cream isn't all sticky and gloopy and its a lovely pale pink colour, BONUS!!!

Primark Trainers in Black and White
I've wanted a pair of black and white trainers for ages so I finally got a pair. The white ones will go with pretty much every outfit and as they are low  heel I will be able to show off my frilly socks YAY!!!!

Rilakkuma Bag
I bought this bag from one of my favorite shops ever ( Toki Yoki). I have an obsession for all things kawaii and rilakkuma is a kawaii brand so I just had to buy it. I needed a new lunch bag so this is going to be my new lunch bag.

Kawaii!!!!

From the age of 13 I have been obsessed with the world of kawaii. Its cute and colorful. Kawaii means cute in Japanese ( hands up if you spotted I'm talking about Japanese culture here woooo) and Japan is the culture of cute.

These are the Harajuku Girls AKA 6% DokiDoki. They have such colorful and cute hairstyles ( I want) and very kawaii clothing.

This is my favorite Harajuki girl as her clothes and hair are amazing. I sooo wish I could have her hair and clothes, they are too cute!!! Also her accessories are amazing and I also want them ( you can buy them online at the 6% dokidoki store)

But kawaii doesn't stop at people- its everything. Clothes, bags, stationary, accessories, cosmetics and even food.

In Newcastle there is a shop called Toki Yoki and its very
kawaii. They sell lots of cute Japanese stationery and socks. Also they sell cute I phone case, phone charms, key rings and jewelry. They even have cute knick knacks such as cutie food cushions, bunny mirrors and lucky cat alarm clocks. Why not take a look?

Hope I have inspired all you cuties out there with the world of kawaii!!!
